A Life Dedicated to the Wild
I explore forests, rivers, cliffs, and high-altitude valleys, documenting birds, mammals, and the hidden lives unfolding in the wild. My work is built on patience, fieldcraft, and deep respect for nature.
I learned wildlife by being present, tracking behaviours, studying habitats, listening to local knowledge, and spending countless hours in the field. Today, I turn those experiences into meaningful stories and ethical wildlife exploration.
Through workshops, expeditions, and outreach programs, I help people connect with wildlife responsibly and empower local youth to become future guardians of the Himalayas.
Hi, my name is
My journey began long before I picked up a camera. I started as a birdwatcher, spending morning after morning hiking through forests, listening, observing, and learning. Photography came later, as a tool to document what I was already experiencing.
I don’t photograph birds to “collect” species. I photograph them to understand them, their moods, their movements, their stories.
A living journal of species profiles, rare encounters, conservation stories, and research notes straight from the remote valleys of Kinnaur. A space where science meets storytelling.
Interactive, beginner-friendly workshops where participants learn bird identification, habitat behaviour, and ethical field practices, through real on-ground experiences.
A guided learning experience into high-altitude habitats, tracking signs, understanding snow leopard behavior, and meeting the communities working to protect them.
Every image is captured in natural habitats with zero interference, no baiting, no setups.
Years in the mountains help me read species behaviour and habitats with lived understanding.
I work confidently in extreme Himalayan terrain, knowing its weather, risks, and wildlife.
I anticipate movements and moods, capturing rare moments most photographers miss.
